about

This is the demo version of this tune which I’ve always loved for numerous reasons and am glad it’s finally seeing the light of day. I captured my guitar parts with a small recording device no bigger than a pack of cards in the garden of Fox Hill Lane itself. I love the way you can hear the Bronze Mannikins singing around the guitar in the background. Unlike the version that made it on the “Fox Hill Lane” album, this demo features Piers Faccini singing, most impressively, through his harmonica.
